Home!

Sunday, July 16th
Hi everyone, it's great to be home and surrounded by things familiar to us. Unfortunately it's a strating over again process for Jenna. It will take awhile for her to feel safe and familiar with her new home. She's a super traveller and only had one little melt down on the long flight from Beijing to Toronto. Customs and Immigration went smoothly and we made our connector with 30 minutes to spare. It was really nice to see our families waiting for us at the airport. Jenna was a bit overwhelmed with all the new people but we know with a little bit of an adjustment period she'll come around. We didn't get much sleep Friday night as Jenna and our schedule's are quite messed up due to the time change. She got more sleep last night and hopefully each day will get a little easier for her. The pictures are of her first bath at home. She loves the tub that Aunt Pauline loaned and gets a great kick out of splashing and sitting up in it by herself. She doesn't seem to mind the high chair and loves playing with the cheerios on the tray...and floor. Molly is quickly learning to hover when she's in it! Aunt Pauline, Uncle Aurel and Cousin Avery dropped down for a short visit on Saturday and Avery and Jenna hit it off as you can see from the picture of them playing together. Avery has so much to teach Jenna:-) Molly is adjusting well and likes to be in the same room as Jenna. She likes to lick her when she gets a chance but Jenna is a bit scared of Molly. It is so nice to have Molly around again, we really missed her. Thanks to Mom and Dad for taking such good care of our furry little baby! After we get our first week or so of settling in under our feet, don't be surprised if we call to drop in for a visit. Thanks again to everyone for their support in this amazing journey.
Love from home!!
Sue, Tom, Jenna and Molly

We're so happy that you are ALL home. We will visit sometime later in the summer when Jenna gets used to "strangers".
