Finally Here !!

Hi all, after a few flight changes/cancellations, we finally made it to Beijing! We can't even believe we're here. This seems to be the group concensus. The flight was LONG but smooth and we are now trying to get ourselves sorted out for another flight tomorrow to Hunan. We've been feeling a bit jetlagged. This didn't seem to hit anyone we travelled with until we got to the hotel. It's so much to take in, we can hardly explain this feeling. We've included a few pics of our first leg of the journey to Jenna. One is of the people on our flight from Toronto as we were coming though customs. (We are happy to announce that there is a family from each Atlantic province represented in our group!) The other two are the hotel we're staying at tonight as well as next week. Our Beijing guide seems great and has done this many times, her name is Mary. We went out for dinner with 6 other families just down the road. Mary took us to a local Chinese restaurant. She ordered for all of us, food was goog but hard to eat with the anxious feelings. For four people to eat and drink, it cost 76 Yuan (about $10.00 Canadian) We're off to bed as you are all just starting your day. Happy Canada Day to all, we'll post again from Hunan.
