Adopting a baby is something we've talked about for a number of years and in November of 2004 we officially started the long, detailed and sometimes intrusive process. There have been many ups and downs, lots of paperwork, meetings, and dreams but the time has finally come, we are in the homestretch. Follow along as we become a family!

Waiting...

As you all know we are waiting for our referral to come in....still, but we are hopeful that it will be here in the next couple of weeks. This is our first postcard, although not from China, it is part of our journey. Please check back often to get the most updated info on our progress. We're excited to be able to keep you all updated even though we'll be far away.

Hi Tom & Suzanne. Great looking Blog! I've updated the website with links to both your blog and the one we set up. Maybe we'll be an inspiration to the others! :) You can find the links on the Familes page as well as on the Journey page. The group in China right now - 229 - had a few tech problems with Blogger and posting photos but for the most part it seemed to work out well.
